The Burns School of Medicine is offering a housing stipend of $2,000 and an additional stipend of $1,000 to study at the National Institute of Health in Washington DC- all expenses paid! (Full time position during the Summer doing biomedical research)
They are looking for students with:

  •  GPA of 3.0 (they may have some room for flexibility)
  • Students with an economic challenge
  • Native Hawaiians or minority ethnicity or a 1st generation college student (no one in your family has gotten a degree from college)
  • DEADLINE IS: January 10, 2013
HAHPERD SCHOLARSHIP
  • 3.0 GPA or higher
  • Declare a strong interest in a creer in health, physical education, dance or recreation leadership

Kaua'i Masonic Lodge Scholarship

This is an award for $1,000 that will be awarded to one student at each high school on Kaua'i.
Must have a GPA or 2.0 or above and complete a 250-500 word essay on the subject listed on the application form. Get your application at Mrs. Donahoe's office starting December 4th, 2012.
